Drumroll....for our 2025 Stories and Stitches Crochet Blanket Pattern
We will modify Toni Lipsey's Linen Square Temp Blanket for our book club crochet blanket this year!

Check out Toni Lipsey’s Linen Square Temp Blanket and swoon like I did when I first saw it. On her Ravelry page for this FREE pattern, she shares on her TL Yarn Crafts blog, she also links to a FREE video to learn how to practice the Linen Stitch Square used for this blanket.
Toni created a Temp Blanket, a popular craft for those of us who enjoy recording the year’s worth of weather where we live. Our craft this time is not a Temp Blanket. We will be modeling after this blanket, but instead of creating a square based on temperatures, we will choose yarn colors that represent the mood, feelings, and physical attributes represented in the book we are reading each month.
The previous Substack post lists the books we will read this year. You can plan ahead if you want your blanket to have a similar color palette throughout. If you prefer to see how each book inspires you along the way, you can wait and choose your colors each month as you read.
Remember, our January 2025 Stories and Stitches book is The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World by Robin Wall Kimmerer. Start reading and start stitching your first square. We will see you for the LIVE book club discussion at the end of the month.
